"Booking Jillian for our elopement was easily the best decision we made. From the very first conversation she was warm, responsive, and genuinely excited to capture exactly what we envisioned.
On the day she was calm and kind, magically putting two very camera-shy people at ease—offering gentle direction when we needed it and stepping back to let the real moments unfold. The photos are breathtaking: soft light, rich colors, dreamy film, every laugh and every ounce of love perfectly preserved. We’ve never loved pictures of ourselves more.
Jill, thank you for driving three hours to the middle of nowhere and freezing your butt off to give us these memories. If you want timeless, emotional images and the most stress-free experience possible, hire her yesterday. She’s pure magic."

For a long time, the parts of me that felt different were the parts that noticed too much. I read the room. I sensed when something shifted. I cared about the undercurrent more than the surface. What once felt isolating became the foundation of how I work. I do not photograph weddings for spectacle. I photograph them for connection.
Film became the natural extension of that perspective. It asks for intention. It requires me to slow down and consider what truly matters in a memory. Super 8 drew me in for the same reason. It feels honest. It feels human. More like memory than media.
The quiet understanding. The inside joke. Connection is what matters.
